Caring for Platinum

As with all precious metals platinum does scratch, although with platinum the metal is displaced and does not lose its original mass.

We recommend:

• Remove your platinum ring when doing manual work or handling strong chemicals like bleach
• Keep your ring from touching other items of jewellery when you are not wearing it. Contact with other rings can scratch the surface
• Clean your ring occasionally by soaking in warm soapy water and using a small soft brush underneath the diamond/s. Dry with a soft cloth.
• Have your platinum ring professionally cleaned once every two or three years
